Go on an exciting Hike-Venture! We start off at Fort Abercromby, located just after Las Cuevas Bay was built by the British in 1804. It boasts fantastic ocean views from two different vantage points. Then we head to Avocat Waterfall, also known as Avocar/Marianne Waterfall, is one of the highest single-drop waterfalls in Trinidad. Located in Blanchisseuse, the hike to the waterfall starts from the Avocar Village. Enjoy a short walk alongside the Marianne riverbank.
The trail crosses the river several times with shallow areas below the knee. At the Waterfall, you can experience a spray bath behind the curtain of falling water that thunders down into a Jacuzzi-like pool below. The waterfall is encircled by huge boulders and lush vegetation making it a picturesque landscape.
