As we make our way past the beautiful stretch of arching bamboo forest known as the Bamboo Cathedral we head uphill to the Tracking Station. The towering satellite was erected by the United States in the late 1950s during the Cold War as a Ballistic Missile Early Warning System to detect Soviet missiles. With a hike rating of 3/10 (easy) and a 45-minute duration one way, this is an adventure everyone can enjoy!
